Our Story

BendFlex^® Research and Development Private Limited was founded by two Ph.D. holders from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore — one of India's premier research institutions.

Our core expertise lies in compliant mechanisms — a novel design paradigm that uses monolithic, flexible structures instead of traditional rigid-body mechanisms with joints and hinges. These structures can be precisely tuned for stiffness and can simultaneously function as force sensors.

From micro-newton force sensors for IVF to educational kits for students, our technology bridges the gap between cutting-edge research and practical applications across healthcare, biotech, education, and precision engineering.
